A Happy Return + A Little Purple Magic 💜

If you’ve been in the cardmaking world for any amount of time, you probably understand just how big My Favorite Things has been to our creative community. When MFT closed last year, my heart honestly sank. Their stamps, challenges, and overall creative spark were such a huge part of my own cardmaking journey—and I know I wasn’t alone in feeling that loss.

So imagine my excitement when I saw that the MFT Card Challenges are officially back! 🎉Seeing that familiar challenge space reopen truly feels like welcoming back an old friend. To celebrate, I had to play along with this week’s sketch challenge.

MFT Stamps Card Challenge

For my card, I reached for one of the sweetest MFT stamp sets: Pretty Princesses. There’s just something about these girls that instantly brings a smile to my face.

I decided to lean fully into a purple color palette—soft, regal, and whimsical. I colored my princess with coordinating purple tones and added a shaker tag to make a cute set!

This card felt especially meaningful to create. It’s not just about participating in a challenge—it’s about celebrating creativity, resilience, and the joy of finding your spark again. I’m so grateful that MFT is back in this space, and I’m thrilled to be joining in on the fun once more.
